Barbecue
The apartment is supplied with an electric grill. This is only for use on the balcony and not indoors. If you use the grill, please clean it before you leave.
Bicycles
Bicycles should be kept in the bicycle storage room in the building's basement. There is direct access from the parking area behind the building. Please do not bring bicycles into the apartment or leave them in the stairwell.
Cleaning Utensils
A vacuum cleaner and other cleaning utensils can be found in the larger bedroom's cupboard.
Consideration for neighbours
Sellin is not a tourist resort, but a vibrant place with many permanent residents. Therefore, please show consideration for your neighbours and avoid unnecessary noise. You are welcome to linger on the balcony in the evenings, but please refrain from talking too loudly or listening to music and observe the generally accepted quiet hours from 22:00.
Damage
Should you accidentally damage or break something, please notify our on-site agency no later than upon departure. The holiday rental will be inspected before your arrival and again after your departure. Any damage or theft will be noted and you will be billed accordingly.
Fireplace
Please only use wood which is suitable for fireplaces. When in use, always keep the fireplace door closed and do not go to bed or leave the apartment while the fire is still burning. If you have any questions regarding use, please contact the local agency.
Furniture & Balcony Furniture
We have furnished the apartment to a high standard and with great attention to detail. Please use all furniture and equipment with care and refrain from rearranging furniture, removing mattresses from beds, or moving pictures. Please do not use any indoor furniture on the balcony. To ensure your enjoyment of the outdoors, appropriate balcony furniture has been provided.

Iron & ironing board
An iron and an ironing board can be found in the larger bedroom's cupboard. After using the iron, please ensure it has completely cooled down before putting it away.
Parking
Spaces in the courtyard parking are all allocated. Therefore, please park your vehicle only in the space assigned to the apartment (marked with a sign). If you require a second parking space, subject to a fee, please contact our on-site agency.
Rubbish
The rubbish bins for paper, recycling and general waste are located in the basement of the building (when exiting the lift, take the door to the right, then walk down the corridor to the left and open the last door on the right).
Security
Although Sellin is a very safe place, you should still ensure that the apartment door is locked on leaving and at night.
Smoke Detector
For your safety, the apartment is equipped with smoke detectors. If a smoke detector beeps, the battery needs to be replaced. Please inform our on-site agency. To stop the beeping, please remove the battery from the smoke detector, which is attached to the ceiling with a magnet (simply pull it down).
Smoking
Smoking is strictly prohibited in all indoor areas. This also applies to cannabis consumption. Please respect this ban. Any contraventions will incur a fine of €250.
Sun Blind
The large window in the living room has a sun blind that can be controlled remotely.
Television
Television reception is via the Internet (Magenta TV), so you can receive all the common German channels and some international ones. There is a separate remote control for operating Magenta TV.
Toilet paper & dishwasher tabs
As is typical with holiday accommodation, the apartment is self-catering. To make your arrival easier, an initial supply of toilet paper and dishwasher tablets is provided. You will need to purchase any additional supplies.
Washing machine
A washing machine is available for use, free of charge, in the building's basement (on exiting the lift, take the door to the right, then open the second door straight ahead and then take the door to the left). Please only use the machine belonging to the apartment - it is labelled. There is a clothes rack for drying laundry in the larger bedroom's cupboard.
Wind
Sellin can sometimes be quite stormy. In strong winds, please ensure that all furniture and personal items on the balcony are secured.
